Four Pillars of Care
P R E S C H O O L
Our goal is for children from Huntington Green to enter school prepared for success, in order to decrease the readiness gap that often leads to grade retention and dropping out. Our little Caterpillars attend five-day preschool programs through local partnerships and are receiving solid foundations!
The comprehensive childhood program also includes:
Childcare during adult programs
Parent education on school readiness
Scholarships to quality bilingual preschools
After school, this fun little crew gathers each week at Kids Club for games, singing and crafts, and to learn about the big, big God who loves them so much.
On Tuesday and Thursday evenings, middle and high school students come to tutoring to work on homework, begin projects, study for tests, and review key math and literacy skills.
We're serious about being a family together — so we hold one another accountable to our highest possible level of excellence. We've seen remarkable growth over the years, particularly in a few of our English-language-learner students!

Job Workshop is an educational and training program for women in Huntington Green. Each weekly session includes a Bible-based lesson on one of the following topics: Job search and interview skills, financial literacy, or social and emotional development.
In addition, a portion of each session is devoted to making and painting pallet plaques and other inspirational wood items for sale locally and on Etsy. Artistic Freedom also sells beautiful jewelry and coaster tiles. Proceeds go back to the women artisans to help them support their families, as well as provide supplies for the program.
The artwork is available for purchase at The Marketplace in Cornelius and online.
